Have you ever felt ostracized during a hairstyling session because someone said your hair was difficult, bad, hard to manage, or too much work? You are not alone.

Before working with me, many of my brides with textured hair felt discouraged because they encountered an inexperienced hairstylist or someone who wouldn’t patiently work with their hair texture. It’s no surprise that these women had hairstyling traumas and fears of updos falling, curls going flat or battling uncontrollable frizz.

You will have beautiful, structured wedding hair, regardless of your hair texture, when working with me. I welcome all ethnicities and properly maintain the integrity of the hair throughout each styling session.

Some brides only want hair experiences for themselves. However, finding a bridal hairstylist who caters to the bride only can be like searching for a unicorn.

The wedding industry oftentimes pushes brides to go big in everything, even though this may not be what some brides truly want or need. It makes sense for nontraditional brides having elopements or intimate weddings to feel frustration when they are denied beauty services because of booking minimums.

I intentionally specialize in bride only hair experiences. Working one on one with brides allows me to give focused attention while creating a customized hairstyle that is a perfect fit for them.

I’m a chill, calm, collected North Carolina native and licensed cosmetologist with 10+ years experience in bridal and editorial hairstyling. My education includes training in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York, and I have dedicated my career to creating a safe, inclusive space for all hair textures.

I love transforming my brides’ everyday hair into a work of art while ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued throughout the process. Building genuine connections is one of my favorite parts of this journey, whether we’re talking about the ups and downs of life, your favorite shows, or what you’re most looking forward to on your wedding day.
